How to Watch North Dakota State vs. Air Force: TV Channel, Live Stream, Live
The North Dakota State Bison visit the Air Force Falcons on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 at 10 p.m. ET from Falcon Stadium, airing on FS1. North Dakota State is 2-0, most recently a 38-0 win over Fordham, and Air Force is 1-0 by way of a 34-0 win over Duquesne. North Dakota State's defense has been the story so far this season. The Bison have forced four interceptions, the fourth-most in college football in the 2026 regular season, and scored two defensive or special teams touchdowns, the most in college football in the 2026 regular season. Air Force leaned on the run in its opener, gaining 431 rushing yards against just 19 passing yards in the win over Duquesne. Air Force is a 2.5-point underdog against North Dakota State at DraftKings, with a total of 47.5 and a moneyline of +110 for the Falcons and -134 for the Bison. Below, we'll give you all the details you need to know about how to watch this game. How to Watch North Dakota State vs. Air Force Players to Watch North Dakota State's move into the Mountain West gets its first real road test at Air Force, and Hayes has given the Bison no reason to worry through two games. The redshirt was nearly flawless in a 38-0 win over Fordham, completing 18 of 22 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns as North Dakota State improved to 2-0 in its first FBS season. Air Force's defense already has two interceptions this year, and an option-heavy roster that blitzes more than NDSU's FCS opponents did will test how Hayes handles pressure he hasn't faced yet. A clean outing keeps the Bison undefeated as they open conference play on the road. Air Force's triple-option offense lives and dies with its quarterback's decisions, and Szarka has been outstanding running it early this season. The junior rushed for two touchdowns and helped pile up 431 rushing yards in a 34-0 season-opening rout of Duquesne, building on a breakout 2025 that included 922 rushing yards, 1,294 passing yards and a spot on the Maxwell Award watch list. North Dakota State arrives as a first-year Mountain West member off two lopsided FCS wins, and its defense hasn't faced an option quarterback who reads the edge the way Szarka does. If he controls tempo again, the Falcons stay unbeaten. A physical, downhill runner who already looks comfortable in short yardage, Scott scored twice on just 11 carries against Fordham, piling up 60 yards including a 7-yard touchdown. That kind of efficiency matters against Air Force, a team built to control the ball with its own option offense and limit how many possessions an opponent gets. If Scott finds room against a Falcons front that just held Duquesne to 107 total yards, North Dakota State can shorten the game further and keep its two-game winning streak, and its Mountain West debut, on track. Air Force leaned on the ground game from the opening snap, and Conti delivered, leading all rushers with 74 yards as the Falcons piled up 431 yards on the ground in a 34-0 win over Duquesne. The option attack depends on backs who finish their blocks and turn a mesh read into extra yardage, and Conti did that consistently against an FCS defense. North Dakota State just held Fordham to 135 total yards, but the Bison are adjusting to a jump from FCS to FBS, and controlling a physical, option-based rushing attack is a different challenge than anything they saw last season. If Conti keeps chewing up yardage on early downs, Air Force controls the clock and limits how many possessions NDSU's offense gets. Ben Johnson sees Bears practicing at a championship level, unlike last year
A year ago, Bears coach Ben Johnson didn't think his team was practicing like a team that wants to win the Super Bowl. He no longer thinks that.
Johnson said on Friday that one of his reasons for optimism heading into the season is that he sees better practice habits from his players than he was seeing heading into the 2025 season.
"Here's what I'm excited about: How hard they're working on a regular basis right now," Johnson said. "I think I made a comment last year about how we're not practicing at a championship level yet. I'm not saying that this year. These guys, the work they're putting in throughout the week, it doesn't guarantee you a win on Sunday, but it gives you a darn chance. So I'm happy about what I'm seeing from all of those guys, and as a result from that they all get better."
Johnson's comments about last year's team came after an 0-2 start, when he said, “Our practice habits are yet to reflect a championship-caliber team." After that, the Bears won nine of their next 10 games and ended the season with an 11-6 record and an NFC North title.
This year, Johnson's goals for his team are even higher than just winning the division. He thinks his team is practicing like a team that can go all the way.

Febrile Manchester derby awaits amid growing rift between United fans and club
City heading to a fortress but home supporters will protest before kick-off over club’s drive against ticket touts
Manchester United’s nine victories from 10 Premier League games at Old Trafford in 2026 cast their stadium as a fortress Manchester City aim to ransack on Sunday, to join Leeds in departing with three points during this calendar year.
Michael Carrick has overseen the division’s highest home points-per-game return in that span: 2.7, ahead of Arsenal’s 2.27 (from 12 matches) and Manchester City’s 2.25 (11); and his side have scored the most goals: 26, to City’s 23, and the champions’ 20.
