Toyota-backed Sho Tsuboi is leaving Super Formula after winning the 2024 title to join FIA Formula 2, following the path of Ritomo Miyata.

Toyota-backed driver Sho Tsuboi is set to make the switch from Super Formula to FIA Formula 2 at the end of the 2024 season. The reigning Super Formula champion, who secured the title with TOM'S team, will follow in the footsteps of compatriot Ritomo Miyata in moving to the Formula 1 support series.
