Mitchell, Mobley Lead Cavaliers Past Hawks

Donovan Mitchell scored 31 points and Evan Mobley added 22 points with 19 rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 122-116 on Wednesday night.

The Cavaliers have now won four straight games and seven of eight, improving to 51-29. They can finish no lower than fourth place in the Eastern Conference, currently 1/2 game behind New York for the third seed. For Atlanta, Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 25 points and Jonathan Kuminga added 24 off the bench, but the Hawks (45-35) dropped their second straight game after winning four in a row.

Mitchell reached a milestone with his 200th regular-season game with at least 20 points in four years with Cleveland, becoming the fifth player in franchise history to achieve that mark. He also recorded his 14th game this season with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds.
