The 49ers are adding depth to their depleted wide receiver room by signing Dante Pettis to their practice squad. Pettis was one of nine players to work out for the team on Tuesday as injuries continue to plague the position.
With Ricky Pearsall out for the season, Christian Kirk on injured reserve, and other receivers missing time, the 49ers signed the 30-year-old veteran who originally entered the NFL as a second-round pick in 2018. Pettis has also played for the Giants, Bears and Saints during his career. amunra.qpon
