Commanders Hire Riggins, Green

The Washington Commanders have hired Hall of Fame running back John Riggins as a broadcaster and cornerback Darrell Green for community outreach roles.

The Washington Commanders are strengthening ties with two of their all-time greats. Hall of Famer John Riggins will join the team's preseason broadcast crew and be involved in special events, while his No. 44 jersey is being retired this season.

Darrell Green will work in community outreach, specifically getting fans and civic leaders on board with the new domed stadium planned for the former RFK Stadium site. The team plans to move into the new facility for the 2030 season. albergomalica.it
