Dolphins Claim CB McMillan

The Miami Dolphins have claimed cornerback Jai'Onte' McMillan off waivers after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts.

The Dolphins created roster space by releasing Nick McCloud to make room for McMillan. An undrafted rookie out of Minnesota, McMillan signed with the Colts in June and played 17 defensive snaps and one special teams snap in their preseason opener. rocore.sbs

The waiver claim was announced during Miami's game against the Giants on Saturday, and McMillan is expected to begin practicing with his new team on Monday, potentially seeing action in their preseason finale.
