Giants' Thibodeaux, Neal Only Top-10 2022 Picks Without Extensions

Only two of the top 10 picks from the 2022 NFL draft have not received extensions, and both were selected by the New York Giants.

Kayvon Thibodeaux (fifth overall) and Evan Neal (seventh overall) are the only players from the first 10 selections in the 2022 draft without second contracts. Thibodeaux is currently in his option year with no expectation of an extension, while Neal became a free agent in 2026 and re-signed for the one-year minimum.

All other top-10 picks from 2022, including Travon Walker, Aidan Hutchinson, Derek Stingley Jr., Sauce Gardner, Ikem Ekwonu, Drake London, Charles Cross, and Garrett Wilson, have secured their second deals.
