Watson's TD Lifts Browns to Win Over Panthers

Watson finished with 144 passing yards and two touchdowns, along with 45 yards rushing on 11 carries. After being booed by Browns fans in a preseason game earlier this month, the quarterback made amends with his performance and emotional postgame comments.

"I just wanted to finish the job for them," Watson said. "There was one moment where I got a little teary-eyed, feeling that energy." He later apologized for calling the earlier fan boos "disrespectful" and "personal," saying his "emotions got the best of me." The Browns now prepare to face the Steelers on Thursday. catcross.org
