Carlos Alcaraz takes on Tomás Etcheverry in the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 round of 16 on Tuesday.

Alcaraz is coming off an aggressive debut against Sebastián Báez. He faces Etcheverry, who has the best clay-court record this season with 12 wins and two losses.

The Argentine is ranked 30th and won in Rio earlier this year. Etcheverry previously defeated Rafa Jódar in Miami after saving a match point.
