The Dallas Cowboys now hold two first‑round selections—12th overall and 20th from the Packers trade—to address a weak defense and boost their playoff chances.

The Cowboys added a 20th‑overall pick via the Micah Parsons trade, giving them two first‑round chances in 2026. With defense the biggest need, Dallas is likely to target defensive players to replace Parsons and improve a defense that allowed the most points last season. The team is also open to trading up or down if the draft develops favorably.
