The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly targeting free agent pitcher Lucas Giolito as they face early-season pitching concerns. With Roki Sasaki struggling in Spring Training (ERA north of 13) and Blake Snell sidelined with shoulder fatigue, the Dodgers need additional rotation depth.
Giolito, who earned $38 million with Boston last season, would provide much-needed arm strength to a team aiming for a third consecutive World Series title. The right-hander finished sixth in Cy Young voting in 2019 and seventh in 2020, though his recent inconsistency and injury history may allow Los Angeles to sign him at a reduced rate.
