Ducati Debuts Desmo450 MX in 2026 Flat Track

Ducati will debut its Desmo450 MX model in the 2026 FIM Flat Track World Championship with British-based VRX Dirt Store Ducati Race Team running a two-rider setup.

The Italian manufacturer will field British riders Tim Neave and Ashton Boughen in the ten-round series, which has been extended from six rounds as a mark of its growing popularity. The championship will visit eight countries and two continents, starting in Roden, Netherlands on May 9, 2026, and concluding with two rounds in Argentina on October 24-25. moryak.biz

The Desmo450 MX model features desmodromic timing and was developed in conjunction with Italian legend Tony Cairoli, a nine-time FIM Motocross World Champion. Neave, a 30-year-old reigning British champion, will aim to improve on his current sixth-placed ranking, while his 18-year-old teammate Boughen, a former Yamaha Motocross rider, faces a steep learning curve in his first season at the highest level.
