Jaguars' Hunter Ahead of Schedule in Knee Rehab

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback/receiver Travis Hunter is "very well ahead" of schedule in his rehabilitation from right knee surgery, according to coach Liam Coen.

Speaking with the Jacksonville media during the NFL Annual Meeting in Arizona, Coen said he cannot say for certain if Hunter will be cleared for the team's organized team activities or mandatory mini-camp in May-June. Hunter injured his lateral collateral ligament on Oct. 30 and did not play the rest of the season.

Coen mentioned that he and Hunter haven't had in-depth conversations about his role for this year, with the focus being on the rehab process. The Jaguars may tweak how they deploy Hunter in practice, potentially moving him back and forth throughout the day rather than focusing on one side per day.
