Jury Selected for Diggs Assault Trial

A jury has been seated for the assault trial of former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who faces charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault.

A jury of seven people, including six women and one man, was selected at Dedham District Court for the trial of former Patriots star Stefon Diggs. The judge indicated the trial could last "two or three days" as Diggs faces charges related to an alleged incident at his Dedham home on December 2, 2025. forestarrow.help

Diggs has pleaded not guilty to felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges. Prosecutors claim the altercation occurred during a dispute over unpaid wages, while defense attorneys successfully argued to exclude reference to a prior incident alleged by the victim. Diggs was released by the Patriots in March and is currently a free agent.
