Liverpool to Pay £35m for Brazilian Wonderkid Bele

Liverpool must pay £35 million to sign Palmeiras' 19-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Erick Bele, as reported by ESPN. The Reds are competing with PSG and Parma for the technically gifted attacking midfielder.

Palmeiras have set their price at €40 million (approximately £35 million) for Erick Bele, despite earlier offers in the region of €20 million from multiple European clubs. The 19-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or second striker, has built his reputation through standout displays with Palmeiras' U20 side and Brazil's U20 national team.

Bele is contracted until 2028, strengthening Palmeiras' negotiating position. Liverpool's interest in the Brazilian prospect aligns with the club's strategy of scouting emerging markets for high-upside talent before prices escalate. The Merseyside club is not alone in tracking the youngster, with Paris Saint-Germain and Parma also credited with monitoring his development.
