Marquette's Skylar Forbes Enters Transfer Portal

Marquette women's basketball star forward Skylar Forbes has entered the NCAA transfer portal, ending her tenure with the Golden Eagles.

Forbes, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 15.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season, leading the Big East with 1.8 blocks. She joins junior forward Jada Bediako, senior forward Aryelle Stevens, and junior forward Charia Smith in leaving the program.

As the Golden Eagles lose four players, only five players are currently projected on next season's roster: Halle Vice, Jordan Meulemans, Kameron Herring, JJ Barnes, and Se'Crette Carter.
