When PSG signed Achraf Hakimi in June 2021, coach Mauricio Pochettino tasked Kylian Mbappé with helping the young Moroccan settle in. Hakimi, born in Getafe and raised in Madrid, was initially surprised by the lack of French fluency. Mbappé stepped in as a guide, teaching him the language and easing his transition into the squad.
