Notre Dame-USC Rivalry Resumes in 2030

College football's historic Notre Dame-USC rivalry will resume in 2030 with a four-game home-and-home series after a hiatus that began when USC joined the Big Ten.

The schools announced Monday they have agreed to resume the series that began in 1926 and featured annual meetings from 1946-2025. Notre Dame will host USC in South Bend on Aug. 30, 2031, after the Trojans visit Los Angeles on Aug. 31, 2030.

Games in 2032 and 2033 will be played in the first three weeks of the season. Notre Dame leads the series 53-38-5, including a 34-24 victory last Oct. 18. The teams compete for the Jeweled Shillelagh Trophy, a tradition that began in 1952. catcross.biz
