Pirates SS Griffin Out 8-10 Weeks After Finger Injury

Pittsburgh Pirates rookie shortstop Konnor Griffin was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left ring finger injury, sidelining him for 8-10 weeks.

Griffin joins a crowded injured list that includes Oneil Cruz and Spencer Horwitz, while Jared Triolo steps in at shortstop. Pittsburgh called up Jack Brannigan to replace him on the roster.
