Rennes' Lepaul Targets Ligue 1 Top Scorer Title

Rennes forward Esteban Lepaul, who has scored 14 Ligue 1 goals, is chasing the top scorer trophy with seven games left. He said finishing as top scorer would be magnificent.

Lepaul, 25, sits third in Ligue 1's goal chart with 14 goals, behind Mason Greenwood (15) and Joaquín Panichelli (16). Panichelli's ACL injury means he cannot add to his tally, leaving Lepaul in a clear position to win the Top Scorer trophy.

With seven matches remaining, Lepaul said on RMC Sport that finishing as top scorer would be "magnificent" and that he is focused on his personal objectives rather than a national call‑up. Rennes currently sit seventh and are in contention for European qualification.
