Scotland and England fans face $80 train hike to World Cup games

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) has announced round-trip tickets from South Station to Gillette Stadium will cost $80, up from the usual $17.50.

This increase affects fans traveling for Scotland's games against Haiti and Morocco, as well as England's match against Ghana. Tickets are limited, non-refundable, and go on sale Wednesday. Paul Goodwin of the Scottish Football Supporters Association called the price increase "totally out of order," warning fans may face financial strain.
