Stanway Makes History as Bayern Face United

Georgia Stanway made history by becoming the youngest English player to make 50 UEFA club appearances as Bayern Munich faced Manchester United in the Women's Champions League quarter-final second leg at Allianz Arena.

Stanway, at 27 years and 88 days, surpassed Keira Walsh's record of 27 years and 184 days for the milestone. Bayern Munich made changes to their lineup with Bernadette Kakounan replacing Arianna Caruso and Momoko Tanikawa returning to partner Stanway in defensive midfield.

The match kicked off at 5.45pm BST at the Allianz Arena as both teams looked to advance in the Champions League quarter-final.
