Jonas Vingegaard finished solo on the final climb of stage nine, taking his second Giro win in three days, as Afonso Eulálio held onto the overall pink jersey.

Vingegaard broke away near the end of the 184‑km stage from Cervia to Corno alle Scale, powering ahead in the last kilometre to win the summit finish. His teammate Davide Piganzoli finished third, while Afonso Eulálio stayed in the overall lead, holding the pink jersey after the climb. rouesnews.click
