PSG Captain Marquinhos Receives Wonderful Personal News

PSG captain Marquinhos celebrated a happy event this Monday, as his partner, Carol Cabrino, gave birth to their fourth child.

The Marquinhos family is growing! After Maria Eduarda (2017), Enrico (2019), and Martina (2022), the PSG central defender and his partner, Carol Cabrino, welcomed on Monday, March 2, 2026, a fourth child named Filippo. The couple shared a photo of their newborn on their Instagram account in recent hours.

Remaining on the bench last Saturday at Le Havre, Marquinhos, 31, rested this Monday like his teammates and thus was able to experience this beautiful event quietly with his partner. The Brazilian will return to the Campus this Wednesday at 5 p.m. and should be able to hold his place this Friday against AS Monaco in the opening of the 25th round of Ligue 1.

Marquinhos is a living legend of the Parisian club. According to Transfermarkt records, the Brazilian has played 513 matches for PSG since arriving in 2013. He has scored 43 goals and provided 12 assists.

According to the cited portal, PSG's number 5 is the player who has played the most matches wearing the Rouge et Bleu shirt in PSG's history, surpassing Jean-Marc Pilorget (436), Marco Verratti (416), Sylvain Armand (380), and Safet Susic (345).

This season, Marquinhos has already played 28 matches across all competitions for PSG, including Ligue 1, the Trophee des Champions, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. He has recorded two goals, both in the UCL.
