Barcelona adjust itinerary for Newcastle Champions League clash

Barcelona have altered their travel plans to fly directly from Bilbao to Newcastle, ensuring players get optimum rest before the Tuesday match.

Instead of a connecting flight, the Catalan giants will travel directly from Bilbao to Newcastle on Sunday to maximize recovery time for the squad.

The team is scheduled to stay at the Maften Hall Hotel and hold a training session at St. James' Park on Monday. Barcelona previously won 2-1 at the stadium earlier in the season.
