Arsenal are close to signing Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka as his contract expires this summer, after a January approach stalled by loyalty.

Arsenal’s summer plans have turned toward Bayern Munich’s 31‑year‑old midfielder Leon Goretzka, who will leave the club when his contract ends. The North London club explored a deal in January, but Goretzka’s commitment to finish the season in Munich delayed negotiations.

While Arsenal lead the race, Italian giants Inter, AC Milan and Juventus have also shown interest, with Goretzka reportedly favouring a Premier League move but open to Serie A if the offer is compelling.
