Tommaso Ciampa surprised everyone by debuting on AEW Dynamite on January 28, and the "Psycho Killer" has been very busy since, including a short TNT Championship reign that ended when Kyle Fletcher defeated him on February 11.
Contrary to initial reports, Fightful Select clarified that Ciampa couldn't have debuted earlier as he was still under WWE contract until January 28. Ciampa revealed he was on a family vacation at a giraffe safari in Texas when the opportunity to appear on both "Dynamite" and "Collision" arose, allowing him to debut, win the championship, and still finish his vacation.
